Colorado Breathwork Retreat Weekend - Aug 3-4

Join us August 3-4, 2024 for a relaxing weekend of breathwork and sound healing at our home on 20 acres of beautiful, sacred land in Paonia, Colorado. This an opportunity to take a well-deserved break from your everyday life, slow down and experience a calming, healing, and laughter filled weekend in the beautiful Colorado countryside. We are intentionally keeping the retreat small; 12 participants or less, to allow space to enjoy the property and to create an intimate container for you to go inward and connect deeply with your truth, with Nature, and with Spirit.

What's included in the weekend?

Opening Circle

Two Breathwork Journeys

Two Sound Baths (with Ildi Ingraham, a super talented local sound healer)

Picnic Lunch at Stanton Farms Lavender Farm (JUST ADDED)

Forrest Bath at Erickson Springs

Closing Camp Fire - Stories, Songs, Gratitude and S'mores

8 Delicious, Vegetarian Meals: Welcome Dinner (Friday evening); Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner (Sat, Sun); and Pre-Departure Breakfast (Mon morning)

Exchange: $500 per person

Options for accommodation:

Onsite House: There are 5 super comfortable queen beds in the house - 1 private room with queen bed upstairs ($240 for 3 nights) and 2 large shared rooms downstairs with 2 queens beds in each ($200 for 3 nights). We also have 2 twin beds - 1 in the office upstairs and 1 in the game room downstairs ($150 for 3 nights)

Onsite Camping: There is parking for your camper/van or you can pitch a tent outside (you supply your own camping gear). ($75 per person for 3 nights)

Offsite: There are some cute small hotels and Airbnbs in the area.

Saturday, August 3

8-9am: Breakfast

9-10am Opening Circle – Introductions, Setting Intentions & Offerings to the Land

10:30am-12:30pm: Breathwork Circle

1-4pm: Picnic Lunch at Stanton Farms Lavender Farm

4-6pm: Free time

6pm: Dinner

7:30-8:30pm: Sound Bath

Sunday, August 4:

8-9am: Breakfast

9-10am: Voice Activation

10-11:30am: Breathwork Circle

11:30am-12pm: Sound Bath

1-2pm: Lunch

2-5pm: Forrest Bath (at Erikson Springs)

5-6pm: Free Tie

6pm: Dinner

8-10pm: Sunset Fire Ceremony / Stories and Gratitude Circle

Monday, August 5

7- 8am: Breakfast

8-10:30am: Departure

Where is Paonia? How do I get there?

Paonia, Colorado is on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains.

Driving - we are about a 4-hour drive west of Denver.

Flying - there are several airports in the area (all airports provide car rental service).

Montrose/Telluride (MTJ) - under 1-hour drive
Grand Junction (GJT) - 1 hour 20 min drive
Aspen (ASP) - 1 hour 40 min drive

There is plenty of parking onsite.

When does the retreat begin and end? When can I arrive?

The retreat begins on Saturday, August 3 with breakfast at 8 am and an opening circle at 9am, however there will be a welcome dinner on Friday evening, August 2 at 6pm. You are welcome to arrive between 3-10pm on Friday.

The retreat will conclude on Sunday, August 4 with a fire ceremony around 8pm. Breakfast will be provided on Monday, August 5 at 8am. Please plan to depart on Monday between 9-10:30am.

Are all genders welcome? Are all experience levels welcome?

Yes! We warmly welcome all genders, ages (18 and up), ethnicities, and skin colors. No prior experience is necessary. All breathwork levels are welcome!

What is your policy on alcohol and drugs?

The retreat is open to everyone - sober and normal drinkers alike! However, we ask that you refrain from drinking alcohol or taking any drugs that are not prescribed by a doctor (including marijuana) for the duration of the retreat weekend.

What are the rooms like onsite?

There are 4 rooms available in the house:

Bedroom upstairs with 1 Queen bed (good for single or possibly a couple)
Bedroom downstairs with 2 Queen beds
Bedroom downstairs with 2 Queen beds
Bedroom/Office upstairs with a leather futon (basically turns into a large Twin bed - single only)
Game room downstairs with 1 twin bed

If you are coming solo and the single rooms have already been reserved, you will be paired with another participant of the same gender in a large room with 2 Queen beds.

There are 3 full guest bathrooms available in the house.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to save your spot. The final balance is due 2 weeks prior to the retreat - on or before July 19. There are no refunds within 2 weeks prior to the retreat, but you are welcome to transfer your reservation to someone else.
